General Policy on Voluntary Donations

Swastik Charitable Trust is a registered public charitable trust (Registration No. E/9050, Vadodara; NPO Darpan ID: GJ/2026/0951803). All financial contributions made through our website, online payment gateways, or offline collection points are voluntary donations intended strictly to support our ongoing social welfare programs, including Education & Literacy, blood donation camps, food distribution, and charitable healthcare initiatives.

Refund Request Window & Eligibility

We understand that accidental payment entries, duplicate transactions, or keying errors can occur.

• 12-Hour Request Window: Donors may request a refund within 12 hours of the initial payment/transaction time.
• Time-Barred Claims: Any refund request submitted after the 12-hour window has elapsed will not be eligible for processing, as funds are immediately allocated toward operational welfare activities and official accounting records.

Cancellation Charges & Gateway Fee Structure

• Zero Deduction by Trust: Swastik Charitable Trust does not charge any internal cancellation, administrative, or processing fees for approved refunds.
• Third-Party Payment Gateway Charges: While the Trust will refund the full amount received on its end, the payment gateway aggregator or processing bank may deduct their non-refundable platform convenience fees, payment processing charges, or gateway cancellation fees as per their standard terms. The final refunded amount credited to the donor will reflect these payment gateway deductions.

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request within the mandatory 12-hour window, the donor must contact us via email or phone with proof of transaction:

Processing Timeline

Once a valid request is received within the 12-hour timeframe, our administrative team will verify the payment log with our banking and gateway partners. Upon verification, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method/source account within 7 to 10 business days (subject to third-party payment gateway and banking processing cycles).
